Thinking About Studying Abroad? Now's the Time!

NYUCN Freshmen! Congratulations on the successful completion of your first year!

As you may know, spring of the sophomore year is reserved for a semester long study abroad experience. In the College of Nursing we encourage all rising sophomores to consider studying abroad in their spring semester to enhance their NYU experience. Students attending NYU have a unique opportunity to take advantage of the resources of a Global Network University. With academic centers throughout the world, NYU is one of the best institutions to attend if you are interested in studying abroad.

NYU maintains Global Academic Centers in 13 locations, some of which include Buenos Aires, Argentina and, most recently, Sydney, Australia! Applications for study abroad are usually due early in the fall semester so, Sophomores, be sure to spend some time this summer thinking about the opportunities and where you might want to find yourself in spring 2013! The possibilities are endless.

Want to know what a nursing student's experience has been studying abroad through NYU? You should refer to our blog post: Inside Perspective on Study Abroad.

Specific questions about study abroad are most likely answered on the Global Programs Website. You are also able to email a global counselor directly at global.admissions@nyu.edu. In addition, feel free to reach out to your academic advisor or a member of the advising staff for assistance with study abroad related inquiries.
