Free Food for NYU Students

A lot of students have a NYU meal plan, and use dining dollars. But are you aware of the NYU meal swipes community? It is a great opportunity for NYU students to donate leftover/extra meal swipes, and students who are hungry can ask and request a meal. Click here to visit the Facebook page.

How does it work? Visit the online request form and click "offer a swipe" or "ask for a swipe". Click here to sign up now.  It is very full right now, so we encourage students to please donate spare swipes!

Below are a few other great tips and resources for students looking for free meals around campus:

- NYU events calendar updates daily/weekly for events on campus that will have free food. On the upper right hand side there is a "Free Food Events" tab. Use that, as well as the calendar on the left hand side to view upcoming NYU events with free food included.

- Free Food at NYU twitter page provides information on events or spots around campus that will have free food. Check frequently.

- Eat Up NYC Facebook page that finds free food all around NY for the general public.

- Campus Clicker sign up here to receive texts and/or emails of coupons for food, markets, etc.
